Berry Barton Caravan and Camping Park
Currently managed by Mark White, Berry Barton Caravan and Camping Park has been farmed by the White family for over 90 years. The rural caravan and campsite is part of the 350 acre working dairy farm and a perfect location for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside, cliffs, and coastline. The dairy herd, and other animals graze on the fields that surround the caravan park.
Visitors can watch the day-to-day activites on the farm whilst at the same time enjoying the lovely rural setting.
Branscombe
Branscombe is one of East Devon’s prettiest villages, its thatched cottages standing against a backdrop of National Trust Land. The road through the village winds past the Post Office Stores, the Norman Church, Forge and forks off to the beach. There are numerous walks in the area which is designated as an Area of Outstanding natural Beauty. The Heritage Coastal path runs along the headland and is a popular walk for both visitors and local people. Within walking distance of the site is one of the two inns in the village offering food and outside seating.
There are also a few towns in the area: Sidmouth is the nearest town, offering excellent shopping, cinema, and local theatre. The fishing village of Beer lies about 3 miles to the east. Further along the coast lies Lyme-Regis famous for its Cobb and Harbour.
