It’s a shopper’s paradise, with independent shops offering everything from fine art to fine food, alongside vintage and antique stores. When you need to rest, you’ll find numerous award-winning cafes, pubs, and restaurants to choose from.

Attractions:
Narberth Museum: Explore Narberth’s rich history through historic artifacts, scale models, interpretive panels, and interactive activities. The museum was a finalist in the Arts Fund Museum of the Year competition.
Narberth Castle: This rectangular castle with corner towers, while not much remains today, is steeped in fascinating legends from ancient times.
Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo: Located four miles south of Narberth in Begelly, this park is brimming with exotic creatures, farmyard friends, thrilling rides, and adventure.
Narberth’s Big Plant Sale: Held in spring, it’s the perfect place for garden enthusiasts to stock up on plants.
Narberth Civic Week and Narberth Food Festival: The carnival in July and the food festival in September attract thousands of visitors with culinary delights and entertainment.
The Queens Hall and Span Arts: These venues bring a diverse mix of music and comedy to Narberth.
Narberth is well-connected via a railway station about a mile outside town, linking it to Haverfordwest, Tenby, Cardigan, and Carmarthen.
The town’s name, Narberth, predates the stone castle that defines its present growth. Derived from ‘Arberth,’ the pre-Norman name for the district, this Celtic heritage resonates in the myth and legend of the Mabinogion – ancient Welsh folk tales that originated from an oral storytelling tradition.
Seaside and Beaches
Although Grondre offers a countryside escape, it’s just a half-hour drive from the coast and fantastic beaches, including Saundersfoot Beach, Amroth Beach, and Tenby’s renowned beaches.
